Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional and experienced Site Manager to oversee all operations, compliance, and personnel. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive experience managing uniformed armed officers in high-security environments and maintaining full contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership, direction, and oversight of daily armed security operations across multiple federal facilities.
Serve as the primary point of contact between company leadership, client representatives, federal stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Ensure contract compliance with all federal regulations, post orders, training requirements, and staffing obligations.
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling of all security personnel, including officers and supervisors.
Monitor and enforce standards related to conduct, uniform appearance, certifications, and use-of-force policies.
Respond to critical incidents and ensure timely notification, reporting, and escalation as required by contract protocols.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and personnel rosters.
Conduct regular post inspections, performance audits, and site walkthroughs to ensure operational excellence.
Ensure officers maintain current CPR, First Aid, firearms, and TASER certifications, as applicable.
Support personnel performance management, including coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Manage compliance with firearms qualifications, physical fitness standards, and background screening requirements.
Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely distribution of uniforms, equipment, and ID credentials.
Security Clearance Required
TS/SCI
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen, with valid state-issued ID.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a DC SPO Armed License and/or Maryland Wear & Carry Permit.
Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, Firearms, and TASER.
Must pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting, drug screening, and physical fitness exam.
No felony convictions or domestic violence-related offenses (must meet federal firearm standards).
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military command roles.
High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or related field preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of D.C. and Maryland armed security regulations and federal security protocols.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to lead diverse teams in high-pressure environments.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting systems.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience managing a federal armed security contract or Department of Homeland Security (DHS), DoD, DOJ, or GSA-protected facilities.
Military, law enforcement, or federal protective services background strongly preferred.
Experience working with electronic scheduling, timekeeping, and incident reporting platforms.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies and walk or stand for extended periods.
Must be physically able to participate in post inspections, drills, and emergency response activities.
Occasional travel between sites in Washington, D.C. and Maryland required.
