JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead Project Delivery: Define the project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Governance & Compliance: Establish and uphold effective project governance processes, maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, health, and environmental standards throughout.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans, continuously monitoring progress, performance, and risks while ensuring that project milestones are achieved.
  • Financial Management: Take ownership of the project budget and resources, ensuring accurate invoicing and reporting, and driving cost efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively address any conflicts or challenges that arise during the project, ensuring timely resolutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular project updates, providing insights into achievements, obstacles, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Business Development: Leverage existing relationships and seek new opportunities to grow the business, contributing to bid proposals and promoting McGoff Construction’s reputation for excellence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Share best practices and lessons learned across projects to enhance the quality and efficiency of our future work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Previous experience in undertaking compliance checks on site and managing and co-ordinating the following trades:
  • Brickwork
  • Scaffolding
  • Metsec & Insulation including cavity barriers
  • Windows
  • Curtain walling
  • Balcony & Balustrades
  • A strong background with a main contractor is preferred.
  • Qualifications:
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • First Aid (3-day certification)
  • CSCS card
  • Temporary Works Coordinator certification
  • Skills: Strong commercial awareness, excellent IT proficiency, and an ability to forge strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Excellent people management skills, with a commitment to promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across all sites.
