This role reports directly to the Facilities Manager. General caretaking experience is advantageous, but not essential. However, the individual must:

• Able to promote good customer relationships
• Have safeguarding experience in an education environment
• Have a proven track record of practical maintenance skills
• Have a good understanding of services within a building such as boilers, heating, lighting and water management
• Have good knowledge of Health and Safety
• Have the ability to follow site and company policies and procedures
• Have good communication skills being able to converse with people at all levels;
• Have a sound understanding of services and plant to be maintained within the building
• Live within 30 minutes of site to provide reactive call out cover if required;
• Good IT skills (Desirable);
• Full valid UK Driving Licenc
