CJS Recruitment are looking for Site Managers for a large and expanding construction company. We are looking for someone who has strong knowledge in fire compartmentalisation and roofing systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of passive fire protection methods, roofing systems and building regulations related to fire safety. This role is for Day and Night work.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS;

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry - Ideally in Fire Protection and Roofing Sectors
  • Strong understanding of Fire Compartmentalisation principles, Passive fire protection systemsand relevant UK fire safety regulations
  • Extensive knowledge of various roofing systems including flat roofs, Liquid Plastic roofing
  • Strong leadership and great communication skills to manage teams and liaising with clients, engineers, labourers.
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily site operations, including labour, materials, subcontractors and equipment.
  • Oversee roofing works including installation, inspection, repair and compliance with manufacturer specifications
  • Implement and manage Health and Safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
  • Ensure accurate documentation is maintained including site diaries, inspection records and compliance certificates.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
