Responsibilities

We are looking for a Site Manager to join the Owner’s Engineer team for a major solar PV project in Abu Dhabi as soon as possible. This is a key role overseeing construction and commissioning activities, ensuring quality, and coordinating with EPC Contactor, Project Company and stakeholders on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth execution of works in line with project timelines, safety, and quality standards.
  • Manage and guide a team of engineers and inspectors as part of the Owner’s Engineer team, ensuring effective supervision and reporting.
  • Oversee the execution of inspections, audits, and QA/QC checks performed by the Owner’s Engineer team, ensuring full compliance with HSE protocols and project specifications.
  • Act as the Owner’s Engineer representative on-site, working closely with the Project Company and EPC Contractor and stakeholders to ensure adherence to technical and contractual requirements.
  • Lead the Owner’s Engineer team in reviewing and validating the EPC Contractor’s documents, including drawings, method statements, RFIs, ITPs, progress reports, and commissioning procedures.
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively, escalating critical concerns and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Provide clear and timely reporting to the Owner’s Engineer team, including daily site updates, progress tracking, and risk assessments.
