JOB TITLE: SITE MANAGER - WATER (AMP8)

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering critical water infrastructure projects under the Thames Water AMP8 framework. This role is ideal for a proactive and safety-focused professional with a strong background in the water or utilities sector.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in the water or utilities sector, ideally on AMP frameworks.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - Essential
• Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Valid CSCS card - Preferred
• First Aid at Work - Desirable
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Manage and oversee all on-site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including RAMS, permits to work, and daily records.
• Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and the wider project team.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and deliver toolbox talks.
