Description Viking Aggregates is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day plant, scalehouse, and associated dredging operations. This role manages production, safety, quality, staffing, maintenance coordination, and budgeting to ensure the plant operates safely, efficiently, profitably. This role also ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards and drives production goals without sacrificing people or equipment. What You’ll Do: Oversee daily plant and dredging operations Ensure production goals, quality standards and customer expectations are met. Coordinate maintenance activities Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues. Monitor dredges, conveyors, screens, loaders and inventory. Ensure compliance with MSHA and company safety policies. Investigate incidents and driver corrective actions. Maintain accurate production and reporting records. Requirements Experience in mining, dredging, aggregates, or heavy industrial operations highly preferred. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of MSHA or similar safety regulations. Strong mechanical aptitude (you don’t have to be the mechanic, but you must speak their language). Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. Requirements Valid drivers license. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed. Must pass drug-screening, background check, and MVR review. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Why Viking Aggregates?
