Description
Description The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, supervision, and performance of contract personnel supporting FDIC services at the assigned location. This role ensures services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, quality standards, and established operating procedures. The Site Manager serves as the primary on-site point of contact for operational matters and coordinates closely with the Technical Monitor (TM) and Contract Manager to resolve issues, report performance, and continuously improve service delivery. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across assigned service areas (e.g., mail services, copy center, supply management, administrative support). Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Supervise, train, and manage assigned personnel; provide day-to-day direction and performance feedback. Develop schedules and ensure adequate staffing and coverage to meet service level requirements. Prepare and submit required reports (e.g., staffing, operational, inventory, and quality/performance reports) accurately and on time. Ensure personnel comply with FDIC security requirements, including badge display and confidentiality requirements. Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery. Escalate issues, risks, and customer concerns promptly to the Technical Monitor (TM) and Contract Manager; track actions through resolution. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management and/or site operations management. Mail services: Demonstrated experience with U.S. Postal Service (USPS) mail practices and use of express and package carrier services. Inventory management: Experience with inventory control practices (tracking, ordering, receiving, and reconciliation). Leadership: Experience supervising staff, creating schedules, and ensuring coverage to meet operational requirements. Availability: Occasional evening/weekend support as needed. Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the United States; ability to obtain/maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of federal contract compliance and reporting requirements. PMP or mail management certifications (preferred). Requires standing and walking throughout the workday. Must be able to lift and move items up to 70 pounds. Schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs.
