Symrise is seeking a seasoned and forward-looking leader to take on the role of Site Manager for its largest manufacturing facility, located at the company’s headquarters in Holzminden, Lower Saxony. With a workforce of over 2,000 employees, this site is central to Symrise’s production and innovation capabilities.

The Site Manager will be accountable for ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations while driving long-term competitiveness and organizational clarity across all site functions. This role carries full responsibility for the Holzminden site and reports directly to the Senior Vice President Global Operations. While aligned with global frameworks such as the ONE Symrise program and the company’s sustainability goals, the role is firmly rooted in the local context, overseeing critical technical areas such as local engineering and maintenance, energy efficiency and regulatory compliance. Success will be measured by seamless site performance, strong governance, and the effective integration of external services into the site’s operating model.
The Site Manager will work closely with production leadership across multiple business units, as well as with corporate functions including Safety, Procurement, Engineering, and Internal Audit. The position also interfaces regularly with local and regional authorities and represents the site both internally and externally.
