We are currently supporting a leading Irish renewable energy developer on a long-term contract opportunity delivering a major substation connected by underground cable and fitted with multiple transformers and associated switchgear.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or Equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience delivering high-voltage substations, civil infrastructure or comparable major utility-scale projects
• Competent in producing technical designs, layouts, and drawings using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Experience working on active construction sites and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
• Track record of delivering reports and technical documentation to project teams and senior leadership

• Support the Senior Project Manager in the delivery of civil works associated with a high voltage substation
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including ESB / EirGrid, EPC contractors, and OEMs
• Develop and review civil design packages and ensure alignment with project requirements
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and civil design documentation
• Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure quality, safety, and programme adherence
• Work closely with the Owner’s Engineer team to monitor contractor performance and compliance
• Manage interfaces between civil, structural, and electrical teams across project phases
