SITE MANAGER - STARTING IMMEDIATELY

Inspired Projects are a forward-thinking commercial design and fit-out contractor seeking to expand our small team to support the delivery of our significant project pipeline and revenue growth. This is a permanent, full-time role of 40 hours per week, based on active sites nationwide. The first 4 months are expected to be at a live Manchester based project, after which the candidate will be posted to another project. THIS POST WILL START IMMEDIATELY FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.
We are looking for an experienced construction professional who can lead site activities in an environment where exceptional standards are the norm. The ideal candidate will have a proven-track record of the mobilisation, coordination and implementation of multi-discipline fit-out projects up to £800k, with demonstrable experience of working to schedule and within specification. Our sites are frequently a part of residential buildings under continuing residential use, so it would be of benefit to have experience operating in live client environments.
This role will demand frequent travel and overnight stays to support projects operating UK-wide, to ensure visible leadership, contractor control and compliance with our company’s ethos of high-quality service delivery. The right candidate will have a full driving license as well as a CSCS card and SMSTS (at the very least SSSTS).
The role requires an experienced leader of people, who possesses the professional confidence to work alone and make key commercial decisions on a day-to-day basis without direct supervision. Our projects frequently involve FF&E implementation, so we need someone with experience of reading drawings and doesn’t mind getting hands-on make sure our Designer’s vision is realised.
We have recently invested in management software to support a period of significant growth expected in 2025/6. The role will promote and support contractor engagement with our new centralised project management system. This includes preparing contractor’s compliance information, overseeing site management (permit and induction issuing etc), and performing structured snagging works on behalf of our clients through the system.
