Site Quality Manager (m/f/d) – Energy and High Voltage Projects
Location: Greifswald Work model: 100% on-site Working hours: 40 hours per week Planned start: September 1, 2026 Project duration: expected to last until May 31, 2030 Employment type: Temporary staffing / Project assignment
For a long-term major project in the field of energy transmission and high-voltage technology, we are looking for an experienced Site Quality Manager (m/f/d).
In this responsible position, you will ensure compliance with all quality requirements on the construction site. You will coordinate quality-related activities between the client, project management, internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Your tasks
- Creation, implementation and ongoing updating of the project-specific Site Quality Plan
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of inspection and test plans (ITPs).
- Ensuring the high-quality execution of all construction, assembly and commissioning work
- Review of work processes and methods with regard to contract requirements, manufacturer specifications and applicable quality standards
- Organization, support and documentation of construction site inspections and acceptances
- Monitoring the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors
- Inspection and documentation of incoming materials and components with regard to specification, condition, storage and usability
- Recording, evaluating and tracking deviations, defects and error lists
- Support in root cause analysis as well as definition and follow-up of suitable corrective and preventive measures
- Handling customer complaints and quality-related inquiries in coordination with the project management
- Creation and maintenance of quality indicators as well as regular reporting to the project and construction site management.
- Conducting or organizing training courses and quality instruction for construction site employees
- Participation in internal and external quality audits
- Promoting continuous improvement processes, for example through Kaizen, 5S, Lean, 8D, Pareto analysis and lessons learned.
- Ensuring complete and traceable quality documentation
- Compilation and handover of the required closing and handover documentation
Your profile
- Completed studies in the field of engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in quality management, quality assurance or quality control within project-oriented environments
- Proven experience in carrying out complex construction, plant engineering or energy projects
- Practical knowledge in construction, assembly and commissioning
- Experience in creating and implementing Site Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans
- Ideally, experience in turnkey high-voltage, power transmission or substation projects.
- Knowledge in the field of civil engineering and in handling electrical systems, components or equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in managing and monitoring suppliers and subcontractors
- Good knowledge of relevant quality standards, legal requirements and regulatory requirements
- Experience in handling non-conformities, error lists, root cause analyses and corrective actions
- Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
- Structured, meticulous and solution-oriented approach to work
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ideally Access
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to commit to a permanent on-site deployment in Greifswald
