POSITION SUMMARY Administer projects from start to finish, ensuring that BTS installation jobs are completed on time and within budget. Provide complete customers satisfaction. Previous expertise in voice and data cabling and the ability to use electronic cable testing equipment and the ability to step in and provide hands-on assistance to technicians when necessary will be required. As the link between the corporate team and field personnel, excellent verbal and written communication skills will be mandatory. Duties & Responsibilities * Knowledge of telecommunications industry services, solutions and trends. * Purchases equipment and materials as needed and approves invoices for telecommunications systems projects and services. * Strong experience in inventory management. * Able to read and interrupt blueprints, engineering specifications for telecommunications voice and data requirements. * Ability to use a high degree of independent judgment to make sound decisions to keep the project on track. * Understanding of technical documents, architectural plans, floor plans, site survey reports, test plans, schedules, procedures and acceptance test reports, equipment performance, operational test and feedback to the proper individuals/departments. * Configuration management to evaluate proposed changes/upgrades to the infrastructure (hardware/software). * Experience in managing, supervising, and assigning multiple crew of cable of pullers, installers, and testers. * Manage troubleshooting and resolution of voice/data communication installations, upgrades and problems across the enterprise. * Manage training and certification of employees. * Detailed and safety oriented. * Knowledge of O&M for Cisco VoIP, network systems, and outside and inside plant construction and maintenance * Experience in managing, supervising, and assigning multiple crew of cable of pullers, installers, and testers. * Manage troubleshooting and resolution of voice/data communication installations, upgrades and problems across the enterprise. * Manage training and certification of employees. * Must be detail and safety oriented. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements * Minimum of five (5) years management experience, and with knowledge of O&M for Cisco VoIP, network systems, and outside and inside plant construction and maintenance. * National Security background investigation required, Public Trust Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Fiber * VoIP * Supervisory experience * Costing * Invoicing * Project management * Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and team skills. * Excellent leadership and management skills. * Strong budgeting and purchasing skills. * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities. * Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team * Physical Demands * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time * Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically * SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Responsibilities

The Site Manager oversees telecommunications projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. They manage field crews, handle equipment procurement, and ensure technical compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
