Job Description We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and manage the Telford site, ensuring operational excellence across safety, quality, financial performance, customer service, and stock management. This role is responsible for developing and leading a high‑performing site team while ensuring the site operates efficiently, compliantly, and in line with business objectives. The Site Manager will drive a strong safety culture, deliver high standards of quality and service, manage costs against budget, engage positively with growers and the local community, and champion continuous improvement across all aspects of site operations. Key responsibilities will be but not limited to: Lead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all incidents, hazards, and reporting requirements are met Deliver site quality performance, ensuring compliance with classification standards and audit requirements Manage site financial performance, including labour and direct costs, to meet or exceed budget and EBITDA targets Oversee stock management, blending, waste targets, and physical stocktakes Lead, develop, and support site staff, including succession planning and training Ensure high standards of site presentation, asset management, and compliance Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and within the local community Desired skills and experience: Proven people and operations management experience Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental systems Experience in stock management, budgeting, and financial performance Expertise in grain classification, storage, and accumulation Strong customer service focus and continuous improvement mindset Intermediate computer skills Qualifications Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications (desirable) Additional Information Please click on the link to see some of the perks and benefits of working with LDC.
