This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of all equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The Maintenance Site Manager will lead a team of maintenance professionals, develop preventive maintenance strategies, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment, machinery, and facility systems operate safely and efficiently Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to coordinate maintenance activities and support production schedules Manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs while optimizing resources and equipment performance Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services Analyze equipment performance data and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to improve uptime and reduce failures Ensure maintenance records, documentation, and reporting are accurately maintained using CMMS systems Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Manage emergency repairs and troubleshooting to quickly resolve critical equipment issues Prepare and present maintenance performance reports to senior leadership Ensure spare parts inventory and materials are properly managed to prevent production delays Promote and enforce strong safety practices and protocols across all maintenance activities Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and proactive maintenance within the site team Requirements Required Qualifications: 5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems Experience managing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs Proven ability to manage maintenance budgets and control operational costs Experience implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and continuous improvement strategies Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting Proficiency with CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, Infor EAM, or similar) Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting and analysis Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field Certifications such as Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing or industrial facilities Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), predictive analytics, and condition monitoring systems Familiarity with safety management systems such as OSHA or ISO 45001 Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in various facility environments including hot, cold, or noisy areas Ability to perform occasional physical tasks when needed Flexibility to respond to after-hours maintenance needs or emergencies Willingness to travel occasionally to other facilities if required Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance Benefits: Paid time off and 10 paid holidays per year Company-provided uniforms Employee Assistance Program available from day one Tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 per year (program approval required) 401(k) and Roth IRA options after 6 months Employee-Owned Stock Option Program after 6 months (company-funded) Discounts on cell phones, travel, and more Equal Opportunity Employer: Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
