JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee the EPCM Contractor at Site for a Simple Cycle Power Plant, ensuring all site activities are coordinated and supervised effectively.
• Manage all aspects of project execution related to EPCM scope of works, including mechanical, electrical, and I&C commissioning activities.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on project progress.
• Plan, organize, and control the entire commissioning activities, including preparing commissioning procedure guidelines.
• Expedite the submission and approval of all Contractors’ commissioning documents.
• Conduct regular construction meetings with Construction companies.
• Verify and control the project schedule for construction and commissioning.
• Establish site regulations and rules of site operation.
• Develop a Site Safety Culture during the site execution of the project.
• Lead the site staff, manage communication between Client, Contractors, and internal Consultant team, and ensure successful completion of the Project.

QUALIFICATION

• GT knowledge, site management experience, power plant consultancy experience, multilingual capability, broad construction know-how.
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience, 10 years as Site Manager, experience in Contracts associated with EPCM projects in power plant, consultancy experience as Site Manager for 350 MW and above, GCC/UAE experience.
• 10 years managerial experience, proven experience in managing large multicultural environments, comparable level of responsibility on at least 3 major international projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, master’s degree in power sector is an advantage, degree attestation from MOFA is required, PMP certification is an advantage.
• English proficiency is mandatory, other languages are an advantage, strong communication and analytical skills, client-focused.
