Our fast growing recycling / waste client is looking to recruit a new Site Manager to manage a new site they have just acquired based in Ellistown, Coalville.
The company deals with Recycling and Waste which it collects from various commercial clients throughout the area, the Waste / Recycling is then dumped at a waste site at a different location.
As Site Manager you will be in charge of running the new site which currently consists of 16 Dustcart drivers and 3 or 4 office staff.
The role will involve the running and managing of the entire site including everything from planning transport routes and training / recruiting new staff through to managing health and safety and the general day to day running of the site. You have 2 transport supervisors who help you run the scheduling/training of the drivers and admin & customer service staff who help with the operations of the site.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Ops management or Transport management, a transport managers CPC would also be beneficial but not essential.
This is a temp to perm position, which means you will be working via our agency for the first 12 weeks after which point you will be taken on full time, however this may be shortened due to the importance of this role, however we do match the full time pay for the 12 weeks you are with us anyway.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and the salary is a minimum of £45k per year but my client is willing to pay more dependant on experience, which can obviously be negotiated on the interview. There is also a company car available with the role if wanted.
