EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
· Proven background in site management on commercial, industrial, residential or heritage projects.
· In-depth knowledge of health and safety practices in construction.
· Strong IT literacy, particularly in MS Office and project planning tools.
· Experience in overseeing subcontractors and direct labour teams.
· Relevant certifications: SSSTS (minimum), First Aid at Work, and valid CSCS card.

THE ROLE
As a Site Manager/Site Engineer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standard. You’ll manage on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on impactful projects while working within a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage all aspects of site setup and ensure readiness ahead of project commencement.
· Monitor and report on the construction programme to ensure timelines are met.
· Identify project risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
· Maintain a high standard of project delivery and client satisfaction.
· Prepare and manage the Construction Phase Plan throughout the project lifecycle.
· Oversee subcontractors, engineers, and direct site staff to maintain smooth operations.
· Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
· Uphold company health, safety, quality and environmental standards (HSQE).
· Lead and motivate teams to achieve performance targets and project milestones.
· Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress.
· Act as Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor, ensuring appropriate procedures are followed.
