Cumnor Construction Ltd is recruiting for a Site Manager / Site Engineer to join our team based in Cork. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a growing local company and develop their career.

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering Degree / Diploma
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Self-motivated to deliver on safety, quality & programme
• Experience on construction sites an advantage
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Full driving license

• Management of site staff and subcontractors
• Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved
• Liaising with client’s representatives / Design Team members as appropriate
• Setting-out from engineers’ drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings
• Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
• Ordering and managing receipt of materials on site.
• Maintaining site paperwork – BCAR, site diary, records of deliveries etc
• Working with the project team to ensure that works are carried out to the highest Quality, Health and Safety standards
