About the role: The Site Manager assumes overall accountability for the control of the site team. Being a principal company representative on the construction site, the Site Manager ensures safety, quality, cost, and time requirements are adhered to throughout the duration of the contract, including the maintenance period that follows. As a pivotal member of the delivery team, the Site Manager must lead by example, providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring of team members, whilst directly and indirectly contributing towards day-to-delivery, competitive strategy, and net margin return. Strong understanding and execution of contract documentation and budget structures and the ability to ensure quality control and risk assessment on-site. Proficiency in managing time, cost, and quality aspects of construction projects. Knowledge of and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies and procedures. You will have: 3-5 years experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager in NZ, working in live environments. A relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field or a recognized certification or qualification in Carpentry, such as a National Certificate in Carpentry or an equivalent trade certification.
