SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Exceptional communication and commercial awareness skills at all levels.
- Experience in Retrofit essential.
- Strong motivational skills with the ability to motivate your teams to deliver.
- Ability to identify potential pitfalls and implement recovery plans.
- Ability to use technology to programme works, provide reports and accurate record keeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Asta programme packages (desirable)
- Self-driven and results orientated.
- Clear focus on customer service and health and safety management.
- A desire to help address fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- SSSTS/SMSTS (essential)
- IOSH (desirable)
- Trade qualified (desirable)

Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Site Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors, overseeing the successful delivery of contracts and projects while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, and client satisfaction. This role includes delivering decarbonisation retrofit projects from assessment through to the delivery of renewable construction and the installation of energy efficiency systems, with a focus on projects within social housing properties across London. In this dynamic position, you will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and lead your team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, Project Manager and their teams.Ensure compliance of H&S standards on your contracts and projects.
- Regularly visit contracts to ensure all subcontractor and projects are operating within the parameters set out by the Client.
- Attend weekly contract/project meetings, ensuring they are effective and at the required intervals.
- Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager and SHEQ Manager to ensure H&S compliance.
- Monitor and progress outstanding complaints in conjunction with the operational delivery team.
- Monitor progress of site/contracts works ensuring key dates are met.
- Ensure the project teams manage materials efficiently, in conjunction with the procurement team.
- Comply with the requirements set out in the relevant Sureserve policies.
- Performance management of your team.
- Be innovative through all aspects of your role to benefit the business.
- Carry out post install and quality inspections.
- Trend analysis reporting to help coach and implement change for field-based workforce.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of collective operational delivery team.
