SITE MANAGER

Location: Oak Harbor, Washington – Naval Air Station Whidbey Island
Type: Exempt
Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
Compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 per year

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in facilities maintenance, engineering, construction, or project management, or similar field required.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of maintenance management or public works officer experience required.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in managing a workforce providing services on contracts of familiar size, scope, and complexity required.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Construction, engineering, logistics, or military background is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Position will require a range of activities, including desk work, visiting various parts of the Tessera operations center, traveling to installation locations, meeting with customers, traveling to the Bremerton Home Office, and domestic airline travel to other Tessera sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.

Responsibilities

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring proper supervision is present during regular and non-duty hours.
  • Responsible for meeting with the Contracting Officer (KO) and the Government Facility Support Contracts (FSC) team to review contract performance, including resolving any performance deficiencies.
  • The Site Manager or alternate shall be highly responsive to DPW leadership and KO.
  • Control and tracking of property, both Tessera and Government furnished, including materials, equipment, and supplies used for this contract.
  • Coordination with other contractors in performance of work.
  • Authorization to requisition supplies and materials and sign task orders for IQ (Indefinite Quantity) within the Tessera approval tiers.
  • Travel to home office conferences, flagship sites, and outlying contract sites as needed.
  • Ensure professionalism in both appearance and demeanor throughout the Tessera workforce and customers.
