Description:
Are you a site manager with a solid background dealing with large earthworks and civil engineering projects?
Do you have a degree in civil engineering?
Are you competent with NEC4 contracts?
Can you start immediately?
Workshop recruitment are looking for a Site Manager with civils and earthworks experience to start a job in Waterlooville.
Candidate must hold a valid SMSTS / Black CSCS Card / First Aid / Full UK Driving License and be able to meet deadlines in tight time scales and work well under pressure.
Location: Waterlooville
Rate: £250-300pd
(A permanent position could be discussed at a later date for the right candidate)
Requirements:
- Degree / HND in Civil Engineering
- Experience with design & build
- Understanding of NEC4 Contracts
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite
- Full UK Driving License
- Understanding of current civil engineering legislations
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting weekly reports to project & contract manager
- Identifying both physical and financial problems, and providing a cost effective solutions that ensures the project remains on course for completion
- Mentoring junior members of the team
- Holding daily briefings with on site engineers
- Providing progress reports to essential key players
- Enforcing and maintain a good health and safety practice is performed across the project
