Description
Position Description: The Site Operations Manager instructs, manages, supervises, trains, directs and coordinates the activities of AFMC CDA technical staff on all daily functions, to include but not limited to Material Release Orders (MROs)/Stock Transport Orders (STOs) processing, materiel receipt, inventory, warehouse management, unserviceable retrograde, and assembly of Fly-Away packages. The SOM must have the ability to access and utilize Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Launcher Database Management System (LDMS) to manage, track and analyze the warehouse functions.  The SOM is to ensure processes are efficiently running, productivity targets are met, workplace health and safety requirements are met, and all physical security measures are being enforced with developed Standard Operating Procedures and performing administrative duties related to the supply activity. Software. Candidate must possess and maintain an Active Secret Clearance. Relocation expenses are not covered for this position.  Preferred Job Requirements:  Experience with AMCOM Missile Systems such as PATRIOT, HIMARS, AVENGER, STINGER, MLRS or equivalent. Minimum Job and Education Requirements:  * Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years’ experience in the logistic disciplines. (Candidate may substitute five (5) additional years of experience for a bachelor’s degree).  * Experience with Army and other DoD managed weapon systems, both hardware and software.  * Proficiency in MS Office Programs.  * Working knowledge of LMP and COTS LDMS.
