An exciting opportunity is now available and applications are invited for the position of Site Operations Manager at the multi award winning Monread Fare forecourt services facility, one of the leading fuel, convenience and fast & fresh food locations in Kildare. This senior leadership role within Lidon group entails overall responsibility for operation of the site.
The ideal candidate will have substantial store management experience in a busy retail and food environment and possess a highly driven, people and goal oriented mindset. They must be able to demonstrate prior excellence in people and organisation management and have the ability to deliver on KPIs while maintaining the highest customer service standards through a motivated and productive team.
The position will suit someone with a proven retail management record looking for a new challenge in a multifaceted, fast paced 24x7 environment. The role is supported by a number of off-site group functions including finance, HR, maintenance, marketing and fresh food expertise.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL EMBODY THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Minimum of five years senior management experience
Excellent people management and communications skills
Experienced in the areas of talent acquisition, retention & staff development
Customer service focused
Proven ability to manage and perform in pressurised situations
Strong sales, marketing and PR focused front facing ambassador
Commercial and financial acumen
Innovative and forward looking in the context of site development
Strong leadership & organisational skills
Structured and goal oriented work approach
Attention to detail: Sets and expects highest standards in all aspects of the site presentation and operation and leads by example
Strong rapport with site staff, suppliers and customers
Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, respectful and stable work environment.
Familiar with relevant Health & Safety and HACCP regulations
Trustworthy and discreet
