We are seeking a dedicated Site Operative to join our team, specialising in Structural and Architectural Metalwork Installations. If you have a strong background in fitting and installing metal structures with precision and care, we want to hear from you.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Welding: MIG & MMA welding experience is advantageous.
• Certifications: Holding a CSCS, IPAF, or PASMA card would be beneficial.
• Full UK Driving License: A valid license is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:
o 3+ years in Steel Installation (preferred)
o 2+ years in Site Welding (preferred)
Location: Based in Charing, nr Ashford, you must reliably commute or plan to relocate
before starting work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00-£17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Install and Fit a variety of metalwork, including:

• Structural Steelwork
• Stair Balustrades
• Balconies
• Juliette Railings
• Gates
• Glass Components

Set Out and Check Dimensions/Levels: Ensure all work is accurately positioned and aligned according to specifications.
Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and follow detailed engineering drawings with precision.
Complete Job Documentation: Use a site iPad to submit job and day sheets efficiently.
Problem-Solve On-Site: Address and resolve any issues that arise quickly and effectively.
Collaborate with the Site Supervisor: Maintain clear communication to ensure
projects run smoothly.
Maintain High Standards: Consistently deliver work with a high level of finish
and attention to detail.
