OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

The Site Operator (Water Treatment) will carry out the required operational duties, in conjunction with the Site Lead and other Site Operator (Water Treatment) , to ensure optimum plant performance and reliability.
The role is based in the onsite Waste Water Treatment Plant in our client site in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork where there are a no. of processes to treat discharges effluents. The role may also involve providing support to other water treatment and waste water treatment sites within the locality.
The role will involve effective communication and interaction with management, team members, clients, and suppliers so as to ensure that deliverables and company goals are achieved. In executing the role it is paramount that Health & Safety, Ethical and Quality requirements, both legislative and company specific, are fully respected and taken account of.

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR THIS ROLE;

• Previous experience (1-3 years) in industrial process operations would be a distinct advantage
• Knowledge of Waste Water Treatment Processes and Sludge Treatment Processes
• Good understanding of quality, environmental and safety management systems
• This position requires that you must be flexible and available outside of the normal working week to provide/organise immediate assistance to Plant Manager and Clients
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team and/or on own initiative
• Strong technical capability with attention to detail
• Strong Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
• Effective time management and Communication skills
