 Civil Site Engineer

Following continued growth, we are seeking highly motivated and team-focused Civil Site Engineers to join our construction teams in South East and Regional QLD. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to an engineer who enjoys being involved in the delivery of civil construction projects and working closely with project delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes.

Reporting to the Project Engineer, you will provide technical and project support across your nominated area of works, with responsibilities including:

  • Providing technical and administrative support to the Project Engineer, Project Manager and Site Supervisor
  • Working closely with the construction team throughout the delivery and completion phases of the project
  • Assisting with project planning, programming and tracking progress against key project deliverables

  • Maintaining project documentation and ensuring effective document control
  • Working with the project team to achieve safety, environmental and quality objectives

  • Assisting with project completion, commissioning and handover requirements

We are looking for a Civil Engineer who is technically capable, commercially aware and enjoys the practical side of construction.

You will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar site-based civil construction role
  • Experience working on civil construction projects, preferably involving roads, bridges, earthworks, drainage or structures
  • A sound understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
  • Exposure to project planning, programming and cost management
  • Experience with contract administration and document control
  • Good commercial and contractual awareness
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients
  • A strong commitment to safety, environmental and quality outcomes
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
  • A current Driver Licence

RPEQ status or demonstrated progress towards RPEQ will be highly regarded.

You will be someone who enjoys being on site and involved in the work, rather than being confined to an office. You will be comfortable taking responsibility for your area of the project while working collaboratively with experienced Project Engineers, Project Managers and Supervisors.

If you are looking to develop your career with an established Queensland civil contractor and want genuine exposure to the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, we would like to hear from you.

To apply, please provide an up-to-date resume outlining your engineering experience and the civil construction projects you have worked on.
