We are hiring a number of Site Performance Manager across both the East Coast and West Coast of Australia. Locations: Perth airport, Brisbane CBD, Mackay, Newcastle and Bathurst. About the Role: As a Physical Availability Manager you will work closely with our customer and dealer and be responsible for providing product support to ensure Caterpillar Mining Products at the sites meet or exceed customer fleet performance targets. You will work in partnership with the Dealer Site Manager to support all Caterpillar business at the sites. Key accountabilities will include: Develop, implement, and manage product support processes and equipment management processes at the mine sites to optimise Physical Availability of mining fleets. Manage Caterpillar's business risk as it relates to after-sale commercial & performance support from Caterpillar at the sites. Co-Manage mine site focus and support from Caterpillar with Commercial Manager and Product Support Manager. While this is a non-supervisory role, it serves a heavy coordination role and requires the incumbent to influence teams outside their business unit or reporting structure. Required Skills & Qualifications: Superior interpersonal, relationship building, influencing skills. Mining Industry experience is essential, and site experience is highly desirable. Position requires previous field rep experience, or significant dealer and customer support activities within the Continuous Improvement, service or commercial areas. Thorough technical knowledge of Caterpillar products and product applications, equipment management, product problem management, and field experience will be beneficial. Broad mining industry knowledge and a strong understanding of dealer operations is required. The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience. Regular mine site visits are required, travel for this position can be up to 50%. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
