Employment: Fixed term/ Full-Time – Project Based

Project: Industrial Warehouse Development

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Project Manager to represent our company on-site for the delivery of our industrial warehouse development in Swanbank, QLD.

This position is specifically for the duration of the Swanbank project and requires the successful candidate to be based on-site daily, acting as our representative and overseeing the project on our behalf from construction through to completion.

The role combines site management, contractor coordination, contract administration and general project administration. You will work closely with our management team, contractors, subcontractors and consultants to ensure the project is delivered correctly, efficiently and in accordance with the contracts, approved drawings, specifications and construction program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be present on the Swanbank site daily and act as the company's on-site representative.
  • Oversee the day-to-day construction and progress of the project.
  • Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Ensure contractors complete their works in accordance with their contracts and agreed scopes of work.
  • Check construction works against approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
  • Monitor workmanship, quality and progress and identify any defective or non-compliant works.
  • Coordinate trades and sequencing of works to maintain the construction program.
  • Monitor contractor performance, delays and outstanding works.
  • Review drawings and construction documentation and identify discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Assist with contract administration, including variations, progress claims, invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, instructions, variations, delays and contractor performance.
  • Follow up contractors regarding outstanding works, documentation, approvals and information.
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, consultants and our management team.
  • Attend site meetings, inspections and contractor meetings as required.
  • Provide regular progress reports, photographs and updates to management.
  • Assist with other construction-related and administrative tasks associated with the Swanbank project as directed.
  • Represent the company's interests on-site and promptly escalate significant cost, quality, contractual or programme issues.
