Description

Purpose Provide foundational support for enterprise infrastructure by executing routine system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks. Making an Impact • Support and maintain production, disaster recovery, and lower tier infrastructure • Maintain automated tools and processes to manage server deployment, administration, and maintenance. • Assist with the identification and implementation of infrastructure improvements, including cost efficiency opportunities, as well as performance efficiencies • Research and review literature and current practices relevant to problem resolution or assigned projects • Evaluate, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with software • Support, troubleshoot and maintain cloud Windows and Linux servers • Complete project tasks as assigned • Administer and resolve Active Directory issues using AD or Resource Kit utilities • Support, troubleshoot and resolve DNS, DHCP, FRS and file sharing issues in a Windows environment • Connect and login to local or remote servers to manage and monitor device status • Support and monitor Azure/AzureGov environment to provide optimal cost benefit for functions/service provided. • Monitor and support network devices to provide optimal connectivity and performance • Consult engineers to determine the appropriate solution for the application’s environment • Install package updates and patches for Windows and Linux Servers • Maintain Technical Documentation • Support documented security and controls • Understand the development life cycle of projects • Troubleshoot and respond to internal and live server and network issues as needed • Provide Infrastructure support in application development projects • Work closely with application develop team for project work and support/maintenance • Maintain and support Azure/AzureGov integrations to any business systems • Troubleshoot and provide support for client file integration issues • Assist other engineers with latency-aware feature design and implementation • Provide support for server and network related issues and support the technology lifecycle for server components • Setup, configure, troubleshoot and maintain virtual/cloud Windows servers hosted at third party • Assist with the evaluation of vendor products/capabilities • Partner with other engineers in administering, monitoring, and configuring windows servers (physical and cloud), firewall, SAN, and load balancers • Partner with other engineers in developing, deploying, and maintaining automated operations for physical and cloud environments Your Typical Day and Other Key Details • Work independently or as part of a team • Participate in compliance reviews / audit evidence gathering • Self-education in emerging technologies • Support business processes through technology • Test, troubleshoot and resolve application infrastructure problems • Manage and support production, lower tier, and DR servers and network infrastructure in an enterprise data center environment. • Support build-out and modification of infrastructure in support of projects • Monitor day-to-day operation and backup solution for all tiers and sites • Maintain and support application releases to production • Maintain, support, and test our Disaster Recovery Plan • Monitor patching or vulnerability remediation needs and perform required tasks. • Configuration of computer image builds and patch deployment using SCCM platform • Identify Infrastructure cost savings and performance enhancement opportunities Required • 0-1+ years’ experience in managing Windows and Linux infrastructure for Software as a Service applications. • 0-1+ years’ experience in utilizing cloud platforms and cloud technologies. • 0-1+ years’ experience developing scripts to automate deployments and application maintenance. • 0-1+ years’ experience with Network administration and management Nice to Have • Experience with Meraki and Palo Alto network devices ManpowerGroup is proud to be an equal opportunity affirmative action workplace.
