DESCRIPTION

Ensure Bath & Body Works eCommerce application infrastructure is resilient, reliable, and scalable. Bridge & collaborate with leadership, architects, operations, developers & test engineers to ensure the high availability to customers. Understand the existing application infrastructure and deployment landscape. Provide inputs/suggestion to the leadership on upgrading the application services, cloud infrastructure by comparison of technical & cost advantages. When necessary, code to automate the application infrastructure lifecycle management, monitor & maintain. Responsible for overall delivery architecture including all servers, databases, applications, and other integrated technologies. Troubleshoot configuration and other problems with infrastructure components (servers, applications firewalls, load balancers, etc.). Work closely with Technical Lead, and other project teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver SRE team assignments. Work with our preferred vendors, to either compliment or bring subject matter expertise to the project. Assist in troubleshooting environment problems and manage complete SDLC across several project phases. Develop or manage the development of scripts required to compile, assemble, and deploy the application across the lifecycle environments. Create and publish summary & details dashboards on the state of the application infrastructure. Agile and flexible to changes. Telecommuting option - employee may live anywhere in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Electronic Engineering plus 5 years experience including 2 years’ experience with building or deploying Java/J2EE applications; 2 years’ experience with Apache Server; 2 years’ experience with Websphere Application server; 2 years’ experience with Oracle/SQL; and 2 years experience’ with Jenkins.
