Job Description We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SRE L2 to support application development, optimization, and observability initiatives. This role combines support, continuous improvement, and monitoring responsibilities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions. Responsibilities: Implement improvements required by the business across the ecosystem. Perform functional testing of implemented changes. Provide regular progress updates on assigned tasks. Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Release Management, and development teams. Support deployments and contribute to secure, high-performance, and scalable code. Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and observability improvements. Role Focus Breakdown 15% – L2 Support: Ticket support and stakeholder communications. 35% – Optimization & Troubleshooting: System optimization, troubleshooting, and gathering requirements to improve day-to-day operations and application performance. 50% – Observability & Monitoring: Strong focus on observability, including monitoring, alarms, dashboards, and proactive system health management. Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience using Java. AWS Kubernetes Java Optional: Helm, Terraform Good understanding of the software design principles (refactoring, SOLID, design patterns) Good understanding of web applications and back-end systems functioning from end to end. Understanding of project lifecycle and operational experience: incident management, change management, release management. Well-developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
