1. Job Purpose FutureMedia is scaling a diverse portfolio of digital products, and infrastructure excellence is critical to our success. We’re seeking a SRE / Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform & Infrastructure team. You will help design, automate, and operate the infrastructure that supports multiple fast-moving squads across our product ecosystem. From CI/CD pipelines to Kubernetes deployments, your role ensures our developers can ship with speed, confidence, and reliability. You’ll work closely with other DevOps Engineers, SRE Engineers, and Product Developers - creating systems that are not only stable and secure, but also a joy to use. 2. Key Responsibilities Design and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for efficient and secure delivery Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Operate and optimize AWS-based Kubernetes (EKS) clusters Automate deployments, testing environments, and rollback workflows Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting across services using tools like Sentry, GroundCover, Prometheus Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support incident response Collaborate with product squads to ensure infrastructure is ready and robust for new launches Maintain and improve GitOps workflows and delivery pipelines Work closely with QA to ensure testing automation is integrated into deployments Participate in platform-wide documentation and onboarding efforts 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles Hands-on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure and services Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Familiar with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions Familiar with observability stacks like Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, Loki, and Sentry (we use Groundcover) 3. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Experience with internal developer platforms or self-service tooling Familiarity with Next.js / NestJS deployment pipelines Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD) Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go Experience integrating QA tools like Playwright or Selenium 4. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote team Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with QA, developers, and product Excellent written and verbal communication Adaptability to evolving infrastructure needs 5.
