This is a contract role expected to last approximately 6 months. Per diem is available for qualified candidates traveling from outside the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of safety management experience in construction (electrical project experience preferred).
• OSHA 500 certification required.
• CHST certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA 70E, and industry best practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering with project leadership.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Relief Safety Group is seeking an experienced Onsite Safety Manager to support a large-scale construction project in Orlando, FL. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing all site safety activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA and client-specific safety requirements, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company safety policies.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training for site personnel.
• Perform regular jobsite inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Investigate incidents/near misses, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports as required.
