Description

Leidos is seeking a Site Security Manager to oversee, advise on, and process Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) requirements for construction projects inside and outside the continental United States in accordance with ICD-705. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing government and contractor Construction Security Technicians (CST’s) and all associated tasks during construction projects; this includes overseeing operations inside and out of the Secure Storage Area (SSA) in accordance with ICD-705
  • Conducting security inspections throughout the project to ensure compliance with applicable directives
  • Developing and publishing Construction Security Plans (CSP) and Site Security Plans (SSP) in accordance with ICD-705 including documenting the construction process and the security features of work through photos, in coordination with designated Combatant Command and Major Command accrediting officials
  • Documenting the construction of all designated SCIF space work
  • Resolve highly complex and multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that affect multiple aspects of the project/program
  • Lead development of highly innovative products/solutions, achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in the field
  • Reporting findings via the applicable CSP and ICD-705 format to the AO for verification and accreditation upon project completion

Experience

  • Site Security Manager (SSM) training obtained through the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate working knowledge of Industrial, Information (INFOSEC), TEMPEST, Communications (COMSEC,) Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) security disciplines
  • 10 or more years’ experience in physical, operational, and personal security
  • Recent experience managing facility accreditation utilizing ICD-705 checklist and established construction security plans
  • Prior military service desired and should have an understanding of counterintelligence, great communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Requires a BA/BS and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience
