KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To ensure effective handover of information across shift
• Contact OEM’s and other suppliers for technical support as and when required and expedite parts when not available on site.
• Complete critical compliance checks on site equipment, including boilers.
• Lead site services problem solving where corrective actions aren’t clear .
• Identify Improvements and implement with support of line manager.
• Use and support departmental programmes for workshops and stores workplace management
• Continuous transfer of knowledge and best practice
• Carry out Planned and Preventative Maintenance to agreed schedules.
• Carry out site tasks to ensure all welfare facilities including toilets and sinks are working and in good condition.
• Carry out tasks safely that need welding fabrication or machining.
• Weekly fire alarm testing, fire door inspections.
• Carry out any other reasonable request from management to ensure site compliance and safety. e.g. Landscaping duties, Ladder inspections.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• BOAS Boiler trained - Essential
• Welding and fabrication related qualifications - Essential
• Understanding of Piranna Systems Training
• Worked within an Engineering team as a site support.
• Understanding of SSOW Document Awareness
• Engineering Quality Induction
• Water, Air, Steam, Fridge Plant supply service awareness including related legal training requirement
• BA Training to support rescue & confined space support.

The Site Services Technician will provide first response engineering to support and maintain the facilities, safe front line preventative and reactive site services maintenance. To actively identify root cause and bring the equipment back in to service as quickly as possible. To actively seek and identify cost effective improvements to site services and equipment, improving efficiency and reliability.
Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off days 0530-1730
Weekly pay starting from: £18.00 per hour
