JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent for a short-term construction project lasting 2-3 months. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of construction site operations. First Aid certification is required; if you are not already certified, we are happy to cover the cost of a 3-4 hour training course. Join our team and help ensure the successful and safe completion of this project

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in reading site plans and drawings
  • Strong skills in blueprint reading, quality control processes, budgeting, and construction estimating.
  • Excellent supervisory abilities with a focus on team collaboration and effective communication.
  • A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate work schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with the project manager to prepare a summary of scope of work
  • Report daily to the project manager.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and other team members to facilitate smooth operations on-site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess safety practices and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Ensures the project site binder and related documents are kept neat and organized
  • Run daily orientations with the subcontractors and team members
  • Ensure site cleanliness and safety for the workers and the tenants
