JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee a new construction project from inception to completion. The Superintendent will manage daily site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry.
  • Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and construction estimating.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • English proficiency required; Punjabi language skills preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily on-site activities in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and labour to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular quality control, safety and municipal inspections to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Allocate resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and estimates to guide construction execution.
  • Maintain open and effective communication between stakeholders, including the Owner, architects, engineers, and trades.
  • Identify potential issues or delays early and implement proactive solutions.
  • Utilize construction management software for project tracking and documentation (asset).
