JOB OVERVIEW

DTD Developments is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee multiple infill projects in Edmonton AB comprising of single family & 8 unit multiplex’s. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, and project managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years experience as Site Superintendent
  • Framing Experience
  • First Aid
  • Experience running woodframe residential projects
  • Good communication
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including quality control and budgeting practices.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 is preferred.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret schematics effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and communication.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction projects. Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and labor resources to optimize project efficiency.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of project plans.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Run day-to-day operations on-site from mobilization to wrap-up

Coordinate trades, suppliers, and inspectors to keep things moving.

  • Ensure all work meets design specs, code, and quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct safety orientations and weekly toolbox talks.
  • Monitor the schedule closely and adjust where needed to stay on track.
  • Maintain accurate site logs, safety records, and documentation.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders to avoid surprises or slowdowns.
  • Troubleshoot on the fly and always look for ways to improve outcomes
