POSITION OVERVIEW:

Extol Developments Inc. is a construction management firm based in Regina, SK executing commercial and multi-family residential projects. Through clear, concise, and transparent communication, we strive to exceed client expectations and deliver projects as committed.
We are looking for a self-starter with an energetic results-oriented work style, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail. As a site superintendent you will coordinate the delivery of labour, materials, services to job sites; enforce onsite safety requirements; and lead and assist with worksite carpentry and labour.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver’s license, drivers abstract, and criminal record check.
  • Journeyman’s certificate in carpentry.
  • Experience in a supervisor or lead-hand role with an understanding of mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural scopes.
  • Excellent time management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to read and follow technical documents and drawings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.

    Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project managers and subtrades on scheduling, cost and quality control, and safety requirements.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to analyze requirements and feasibility.
  • Assist with project scope and objective definition, translate into tasks for staff and subtrades, and follow-up to assure quality and timely completion.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, team members, subtrades, and vendors with professional communication.
  • Enforce and adhere to safety requirements on-site.
  • Perform carpentry and labour tasks including measurements, rough-ins, cabinet assembly and installation, demolition, and others as required.
