Description

JOIN A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY THAT BUILDS MORE THAN JUST PROJECTS — WE BUILD CAREERS.

Are you a proven Site Superintendent with a strong track record leading full-cycle construction projects? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where quality, safety, and innovation are top priorities? Whether your background is in wood-frame multi-family, high-rise towers, or ICI projects like commercial and institutional builds — we want to hear from you.

Located on beautiful Vancouver Island, this is more than just a job opportunity — it’s a chance to live and work in one of Canada’s most sought-after outdoor destinations. If you’re considering a move, we offer a long term career opportunity and a work-life balance that lets you trade traffic jams for trailheads. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day site operations for full-cycle construction projects from excavation to occupancy
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain quality and schedule adherence
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Conduct site meetings, maintain detailed project documentation, and generate progress reports
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, consultants, and clients to solve problems proactively and keep timelines on track
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized jobsite in line with BC Building Code

Project Types:

  • Residential: Wood-frame or concrete towers, 4–20+ storeys, townhome and mixed-use communities
  • ICI: Commercial new builds, institutional, and light industrial

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of superintendent experience with reputable general contractors in Canada
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle projects from mobilization to close-out
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, scheduling (MS Project or similar), and site coordination
  • Journeyperson (Red Seal Carpentry) or engineering background strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IPD or collaborative project delivery models is an asset
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and documentation/reporting skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with a passion for team-building and mentorship

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $120,000 – $160,000, depending on experience
  • Company truck or vehicle allowance
  • Robust health and dental benefits, RRSP matching, and vacation packages
  • Possible Relocation assistance for candidates moving to Vancouver Island
  • Career growth within a well-established, values-driven company known for quality and innovation
  • A company culture that values work-life balance, transparency, and respect

Why Vancouver Island?
Think breathtaking coastline, world-class hiking and biking trails, vibrant communities, and no shortage of fresh air. Whether you’re a mountain biker, kayaker, hiker, or someone who just loves the idea of trading your commute for nature — this is a lifestyle opportunity, not just a career move.
Apply today to take the next step in your construction leadership journey — and build something great with a company that’s building for the future.
