Description

The Site Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognized institution
  • At least 6 years of experience relevant work experience in managing structural & architectural siteworks with A1 Main Contractor.
  • Candidates who have mananged 2 full-cycle building projects would have an added advantage.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills, people supervisory skills, interpersonal skills, project management skills, subcontract management skills.
  • Able to handle dynamic and fast-paced construction work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the site setting up and tower crane location erection & dismantling.
  • Ensure all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with the inspection & test plan for structural works.
  • Monitor and supervise Foremen / Sub-contractor, ensure compliance to inspection & test plan, quality procedures and standards of workmanship.
  • Resolve drawing discrepancies prior to start work and settle drawing issues with technical team & consultants

  • Plan and prepare prelims, budgeting and monitor cost report.
  • Plan for site access during different stages of work
  • Planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
  • Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
