Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate multiple trades, including wet/dry fire, electrical, plumbing, joinery and other subcontractors.
  • Plan and manage daily and weekly work schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain project programme and productivity.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and proactively manage site WHS requirements.
  • Manage SWMS, site safety procedures and compliance in accordance with SafeWork NSW requirements.
  • Conduct weekly site walk-throughs with the client.
  • Read, interpret and work from architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
  • Identify and resolve construction issues and scheduling bottlenecks.
  • Order and manage materials, plant and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate site diaries, reports and project documentation using Procore.
  • Monitor quality, progress and workmanship across the site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

  • Washing, cleaning and detailing mobile plant, vehicles and equipment
  • Preparing plant and equipment for mobilisation to construction sites
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks
  • Moving vehicles and equipment around the yard
  • Refuelling plant and equipment
  • Collecting parts, consumables and supplies as required
  • Assisting with incoming and outgoing plant and equipment
  • Completing basic plant pre-start and condition checks
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard
  • Assisting with basic repairs and maintenance of small motors and equipment
