Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee daily transportation operations in Bracebridge. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage drivers, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of safety and customer service.
Pay Rate: $28.40/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:30am (10-12 hours per day)
Possible Alternating Sat /Sunday shift twice a month start times 7:00am on the weekend.

• Ability to plan, prioritize and execute against tight timelines.
• Proficient with database, spreadsheet, and word processing computer skills within a Microsoft environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours with some travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SITE SUPERVISOR:

• Provide direct supervision, training, and coaching to drivers while ensuring compliance with company policies and ministry standards
• Act as liaison between dispatch and drivers to ensure schedules, equipment, and service requirements are clearly communicated
• Monitor equipment needs, assist in budget planning, and manage resources within approved limits
• Conduct ride-alongs to promote safe driving habits, fuel efficiency, and overall performance
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships by addressing service concerns promptly and professionally
• Track driver performance, document any issues, and manage discipline when required
• Lead accident investigations and ensure all safety protocols are followed

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SITE SUPERVISOR ROLE:

• Valid DZ Driver’s License
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, or waste management
• Experience with Side Loaders, Rear Packers, Over the Tops, Front End, and Roll Off vehicles
• Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections and conduct accident investigations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, databases)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and travel as required
