We’re seeking a Site Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in residential construction who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in residential construction (custom homes/renovations preferred)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Proficient with construction management software (BuilderTrend preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicts professionally
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Comfortable with technology (Microsoft Office, Outlook, spreadsheets, databases)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required

EXPERIENCE:

• Residential Construction Supervision: 5 years (preferred)
• General Construction: 5 years (preferred)

• Supervise trades and site activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship
• Visit job sites daily to monitor progress and address issues proactively
• Conduct or participate in daily safety audits using our digital platform (BuilderTrend)
• Provide training, feedback, and support to site crews and subcontractors
• Upload daily logs, complete To-Do tasks, and prepare Thursday reports through BuilderTrend
• Create project schedules and weekly checklists; track labour hours and productivity
• Review and interpret construction drawings, ensuring accurate execution
• Monitor material usage, minimize waste, and schedule deliveries in advance
• Perform occasional general labour tasks (e.g., site cleanup, material pick-up)
• Communicate effectively with clients, designers, architects, and project managers
• Submit all required paperwork, receipts, and reports to the office in a timely manner
• Investigate and document incidents, near misses, or safety concerns
• Represent MGB professionally with clients, trades, and the public
