Responsibilities

As Site Supervisor for the Darwin Civic Centre project, you will play a critical role in managing daily on-site operations and overseeing assigned work packages. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing trades, contractors, and resources to ensure efficient, safe, and timely project delivery
  • Monitoring site activities, resolving issues, and maximising site productivity through effective scheduling and supervision
  • Ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards, building regulations, and project specifications, including coordinating High Risk Workshops (HRWs)
  • Serving as a key liaison for subcontractors, consultants, and visitors, maintaining clear communication and fostering a collaborative site culture
  • Maintaining accurate site records, monitoring costs, and ensuring documentation accuracy including daily dockets and site diaries
  • Leading, supporting, and mentoring site teams to meet project goals while promoting accountability and professional development
  • Upholding DCOH’s quality management processes and health and safety commitments while adhering to the Archaeological Management Plan
