Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Site Supervisor with a strong background in dynamic compaction for ground improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of dynamic compaction techniques to improve soil strength, density, and load-bearing capacity. The Site Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring quality control, adherence to safety standards, and timely project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Extensive experience in dynamic compaction techniques for soil improvement or ground stabilization projects.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, ground improvement methods, and soil behavior under dynamic compaction.
• Previous hands-on experience with dynamic compaction equipment and related machinery.
• Excellent ability to supervise, lead, and coordinate teams on site, ensuring high performance and safety.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Ability to interpret geotechnical reports, site drawings, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and environmental requirements for soil improvement and ground stabilization projects.
• Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions to keep the project on track.

• Supervise and manage dynamic compaction activities on site as part of a ground improvement project to enhance soil strength and reduce settlement.
• Oversee the setup, operation, and monitoring of dynamic compaction equipment, ensuring proper execution according to project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to plan, schedule, and execute ground improvement works in accordance with technical specifications.
• Ensure all activities comply with environmental, safety, and quality regulations, and provide leadership to the team on best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the dynamic compaction process is being followed correctly and that the results meet required standards.
• Provide leadership and support to the site crew, ensuring that workers are well-trained and working in a safe and productive environment.
• Monitor and maintain detailed records of soil improvement processes, equipment usage, and progress to ensure project timelines are met.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise on-site, including equipment malfunctions or soil-related complications, and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting key activities, performance, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all documentation, including safety reports, equipment logs, and testing records, are accurately completed and submitted on time.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and any changes to project scope or timeline.
