We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher/Site Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading classroom activities in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring the well-being of children, and overseeing daily operations at the preschool site. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood education, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs and interests of the children.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular assessments of children’s development and learning.
  • Lead parent-teacher conferences and participate in school events and activities.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Lead whole group, small group, and individualized instruction to foster growth across all developmental domains.
  • Integrate play-based, hands-on learning with a strong focus on social-emotional learning, language and literacy, and creative exploration.
  • Maintain a structured daily routine that supports children’s sense of safety, belonging, and readiness to learn.
    Qualifications:
    Education:
  • Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field. Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
    Experience:
  • Minimum of three years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
    Skills:
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Certifications:
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or obtain when hired .
  • Mandated Reporter Training or obtain when hired .
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $21.50 - $26.50 per hour
