REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:

  • A track record of success in EH&S and Quality.
  • A self-starter with proven leadership abilities. Self-led and highly motivated to plan and ensure the completed execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental and engineering standards.
  • Experience with operation of steam methane reformer (SMR) Hydrogen plants and/or Air Separation Units (ASUs) is a plus but not a specific requirement as training will be provided for the successful candidate.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently but equally able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated computer skills

MINIMUM HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of process plant operation/maintenance experience preferred (Civilian or Military).
  • A Demonstrated commitment to supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety programs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with multiple support groups.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work alone as needed.
  • A lead from the front attitude when unplanned plant events arise.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Be able to meet call-in requirements as needed.
  • Elevated work required.
Responsibilities
  • Commitment to safety including Basic Safety Performance (BSP) compliance and process safety management.
  • Promotion and support of customer relations through effective communications and customer interactions.
  • Completion of all administrative responsibilities for the site.
  • Leading all aspects of the day to day operation, including but not limited to:
  • Troubleshooting plant process or mechanical problems, coordinating and performing maintenance activities, driving plant efficiency and plant projects.
  • 24/7 on-call responsibilities for response to plant alarms and shutdowns.
  • Identifying maintenance concerns, developing and implementing corrective/preventive measures while working within planned maintenance budgets.
  • Working and communicating regularly and effectively with the North America Operating Service Center (OSC), asset manager, regional maintenance manager, tech support team, and PHG Operations Line Manager.
  • This role is a safety sensitive position.
